The Soviet Union was a results of many political, ideological, and historical factors. It was a time of control, political tensions, and wars.
It was also a time of the Space Race (the infamous Sputnik), the Cold War, and communism. Despite all of the political turmoil and war time tensions, every day citizens still had to go on and live their lives.
